We've expanded our Shanghai headquarters with the launch of a versatile new space. The 200sqm venue is an adaptable blank canvas area that is able to host gatherings, exciting exchanges and whatever the moment demands, whether a photo shoot, a shop-able showroom or an after-work yoga class.

Learning, skills, wellness and fun – Reuter: Academy held a few events in August, such as the rooftop exercise class hosted by Sam of Z&B Fitness, as well as an inspirational session by Nancy Pon, the award-winning coach and public speaker, on 'How to be the heroine/hero in your life'.

Everlane are known for their 'modern essentials' and the innovative concept of showing the customer a breakdown of the full cost of production and price mark-up.

They opened onto China's digital eco-system in August, saying hello to their fans on WeChat ahead of their Tmall launch, talking about their brand initiatives on sustainability and positioning of "Exceptional Basics" with a China-relevant angle.

Mid-Autumn Festival and Mooncakes are here again!

The Belgian chocolatier created a culturally resonant campaign with their new collection. Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as Mooncake Festival, and so followers across China's social media platforms can now purchase the special edition.

Also in sync with the cultural celebrations, Whittard continued their strategic growth on WeChat with a campaign focused on Mid-Autumn festival – the 'Moon Bunny Tea' story built followers and engagement through rich content.

Collaboration and wellness were the watchwords of The Middle House in August, as a wellness day at the Penthouse with SpaceCycle, lululemon, Mercedes Benz and Zwilling involved exciting keynote talks and interactive activities such as a lululemon feel lab and Mercedes Benz test drive.

In partnership with NET-A-PORTER, founders of the Australian fashion icon Zimmermann arrived in China. Nicky Zimmermann and Simone Zimmermann landed in Shanghai to co-host an intimate evening of dinner and cocktails to celebrate Zimmermann's presence in China. All guests were wearing designs from the Fall 2019 and Resort 2020 collections as well as sunglasses from NET-A-PORTER and Zimmermann's exclusive capsule collection which launched in June 2019.
